Steatite/ Stealan

Steatite is a magnesium silicate - made up to 90% from soapstone. Particular feature: The extremely good processability. Steatite is burnt at temperatures of between 1300 and 1400°C. This safeguards both the high density and pronounced mechanical strength.

We market our high-frequency steatite with a dense structure under the brand name of STEALAN.
  • high mechanical and thermal load capacity
  • effective thermal insulator
  • excellent electrical insulation properties

Here is where our customers turn to STEALAN:
  • Controller parts and casings
  • Switch and plug parts
  • Insulating jacks
  • Axles and shafts
  • Lead-throughs
  • Halogen lamp bases
  • Heating conductor carriers and resistor cores
