Superpyrostat

Superpyrostat is used in its soft burned condition. It is a porous high frequency steatite which impresses especially in view of its excellent processability after being fired.

The chief strengths of this material in keeping with DIN VDE 0335 / DIN EN 60 672:

• high resistance to thermal shocks
• Strength and porosity can be specifically adjusted
• high volume resistance
• high thermal conductivity
• resistant to basic melting
